I’ve been in New York visiting my big guys since Saturday, and I am having a blast. I love these kids. Also? Big kids are SO much easier than little ones… they wipe their own butts, you don’t need to cut up their food, and they don’t wake up 3 times a night.
I haven’t picked up my camera once- I haven’t even taken it out of my bag. I’m surprised B hasn’t pulled it out, last time he didn’t put it down, and the majority of the pictures I had from the visit were taken by him.
I this this trip has been great for all of us- without the little four kids here, I’ve been able to really concentrate and talk to the big ones. When we’re all together, it’s hard to do that without interruptions and chaos. It’s been great bonding with them. I am totally going to try to do this more often.
Aaron has been having fun with the little ones. The girls have had school all this week, so he’s been doing the stuff I do each week… getting everyone up and on the bus, dealing with the twins all day… grocery shopping. I think he likes being a stay at home dad

Sounds like a great time. I agree, big ones are so much easier. We have been missing you here in bloggerland.
I’d love to read a post from him about how he’s done, lol Like a day in the life, pics of what the girls are wearing to school, etc. haha
I told him the same thing- to take lots of pics and blog about it LOL
Nice. I can’t wait for my kids to be older. Kieran is already sooooo much easier than the others, and he’s just 9. I think I won’t know what to do with all my newfound time when no one needs me to get cups of water/milk for them.
