Random Tuesday Thoughts- If I could turn back time.

Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe that I haven’t blogged since Friday. It’s not even like I did all that much this weekend to keep me away from my blog. Then again that meant I had nothing really to say.  The girls went to the movies with and did some other fun stuff, but we pretty much stayed home the whole weekend.

We did go to the park today after I picked up Lili from school.  The boys love playing outside, and Dylan even cried when we left.

I can’t believe it’s April already. Lili will be nine this month.  Typically, April is a hard month for me,  with both Raime & Connor’s anniversaries.  I suppose there’s still time for me to find myself in that place, but each year it gets easier.

It’s only 40 days until our March of Dimes walk.  Just sayin’…

Getting back to Lili, she says she’d like to blog.  When we get products to review, they come in the mail- and the girls always see  the packages.  The majority of the time, the items are for the boys.  She’s decided she’d like to try out ‘girl stuff for big kids’ for the blog, and she wants to type up the reviews herself.  I am rather excited about this idea, and I think it will be great.

I was watching an old episode of Will & Grace the other night, and part of the storyline was about Cher.  And ever since then, I can’t get Believe out of my head.

♪♫ Do you believe in life after love after love after love… ♫♪

Is it stuck in your head now?  I don’t even know if that song was in the episode.

So anyway, we did eat the best meal this weekend. It was super easy, and so yummy. I’ll give you the recipe. Ready?

  • Chicken breasts.
  • BBQ sauce.

Toss ‘em in the crockpot. We just dumped probably 3/4ths of a bottle of BBQ sauce in there. By dinnertime, the chicken will be all shredded up. We ate it on hamburger buns with coleslaw. I think next time I might get crazy and serve it with corn on the cob too. Simple, summery, and unfortunately we had no leftovers.

I think it’s about time for someone to get his first haircut, what do you all think?

In honor of Keely’s Random Tuesday Thoughts, I will continue to be random each Tuesday during her hiatus. And I will even provide you with a linky if you would like to join me in honoring the Great Unmom until she returns to her rightful place as host.

It needs to be trimmed, it’s uneven, and starting to get in his eyes. Dylan’s too, actually. Figures, my boys grow hair fast and Lili was bald until 3

Score! Now I know what to make for dinner! Oh and I think that it could be awesome if you teach your little man to stick out his tongue a la Cher and then flip that hair around! HA! He’s too cute!
