Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles Provide Good, Messy Fun.

With a big family that includes five boys, we are used to kids getting messy around here.  It’s fun for the kids, and it really doesn’t hurt anything.  Whether the girls are baking mud pies or  the twins are making dirt angels, it’s not a big deal- nothing a shower won’t fix.

The kids all love water play and ask if they can turn on the hose or use water guns on a regular basis, but sometimes it’s too chilly for them to be getting all wet.  A fun alternative yet keeping with the messiness are the Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles.

When these debuted last year, many parents were put off because they didn’t expect the color to stick to clothes and other surfaces.  But it washes right off, so to us it was just fun.

This year, they’ve created a new version that keeps all the fun for kid and makes clean up easier for parents. Color magically rubs off skin, hoses off of many outdoor surfaces and washes out of cotton and cotton blend clothing.  However, even with the old version we never had any issues with the colors washing off easily.

I also think they’re a little brighter in color than last year.  They come in several bright shades- like blue, purple, pink, orange, and yellow.

We love that the bubble launcher is powered by a hand crank, so no worries about running out of batteries.  We currently own two of them.

If your family is like ours, and isn’t afraid of a little messy fun, you could win your own bubble launcher and 3 pack of colored bubbles!  Just fill out the form below to be entered.

They look awesome, my kids would love them! For messy fun, the girls LOVE the beach. I know that’s not the traditional “messiness” but sand gets everywhere and you find it in every orifice for days later, haha!

My kids would love these! I looked at them at Walmart yesterday, but was hesitant to buy them because of the problems with staining that were reported last year.

Thank you for the update about the colors being easier to wash off this year! Last year, I bought Liam orange and green and ended up with an orange and green porch, shower and clothes that were REALLY hard to get clean. Messy stuff the kids like? Anything with water and mud. Drives me bonkers, but keeps them happy.

Currently my kids love mud. My little boy is constantly trying to put my potting soil in the water table when we have it out.
Today I had to get him out of the flower pot at least a half dozen times.
