Ugh, Bras.

I have a love-hate relationship with bras.  I don’t feel dressed without one on, but once I’m wearing one, can’t wait to get it off.  And it seems that as soon as I find one I feel is comfortable, a strap breaks or the underwire pops out.  And why are all the comfy ones so… matronly and not the least bit sexy?

Enter Leading Lady, a premiere nursing and full figure intimate apparel company dedicated to creating comfortably functional, remarkably affordable, stylish and easy-to-wear bras, camis and sleepwear.  Founded 70 years ago, Leading Lady remains a family business.  They offered to send me one of their bras to try, and I received a Molded Padded Seamless Underwire Full Figure Bra.

It’s comfortable, the straps stay put, and it’s flattering.  Really, what more could you want in a bra?

Leading Lady has a full range of maternity and nursing bras as well, including several styles of nursing camis.  In fact, in 1988, Leading Lady was the company to invent the nursing camisole!  On the site, you can even learn how to measure yourself for the perfect fit.

Previously only available through retailers such as Target, JC Penney and Gap, women are now able for the first time to order directly from the site!

The range of full figure and nursing bras available includes sexy stretch lace, seamless wire-free and underwire bras, supportive sport and yoga bras, and cozy sleep and leisure bras.  So whatever type of bra you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it- and in the appropriate size- at Leading Lady.

The nursing collection is available in sizes in sizes 34B to 48 F, and full figure collection is available in sizes 34 A to 56 DDFG.

Would you like to win a bra from Leading Lady?  The winner will receive a promotional code so that she can choose her own personal style and size from the site.  The code will also give the winner free shipping if she should choose to order additional items with her free bra! I have a hate-hate relationship with bras. I am only a 36B but have nerve problems in my neck and shoulder and bra straps either give me a headache or make my hand go numb. This winter has meant a lot of undershirts and layers while I go braless as physiotherapy try to fix my neck/shoulder. Sheesh. One issue I have with not having big breasts is that it is hard to find bras with wider straps, which are less problematic for me. If I would lose 20 pounds I would probably not need a bra at all as the girls would shrink . . . I never understood the whole getting breast implant thing, I want smaller breasts, not bigger!

Not wearing bra feels like i’m naked. Even when i’m sleeping I still wears it. My friends told me that it is not advisable to wear bras during bed time. I don’t know, I just feel uncomfortable not wearing it.
By the way, thanks for the product review. I love the sports bra the model is wearing in the photo.

I really dislike bras as well. I can’t find one that has straps that stay on my shoulders! If I were to win :) I like the one you have pictured – molded padded seamless underwire.

I just looked at the website… I would probably get a front-clasp or an underwire. Actually, these are not as expensive as I thought they would be, so I may end up getting one anyway…

The racer-back would probably be my choice. The prices of all the bras is quite reasonable.

I’ve got a love/hate relationship with bras too. I always have. I can’t go without one in public, and I honestly haven’t ever had a comfortable bra that looked good, it’s like I can either be comfortable or look good not both.

A bra that says it is comfortable, no underwire, in a pretty color, in my size? I’ve got to try one! I have the hardest time finding bras that fit. I had reduction surgery at 17, and went from a 38K to a c cup, but then kept growing. I know ALL about not being able to find a bra that is pretty and fits… those seem to be mutual exclusives in my world.
