Preschool and Thrift Shops

We had the meeting today to set up how much preschool the boys will receive next year.  They’re going to start them at an hour a day, 4 days a week, and build up from there as needed.  This is to get them integrated and used to the teachers, classmates and routine.  They’ll be in different classes to encourage them to use more words and interact with kids other than their twin.  The meeting started late, and ran long,  and the boys were so very well behaved playing in the corner the whole time- I was so proud of them.  We were there from about 1:15 until close to 4!

Afterwards, we went to eat and then headed over to check a couple thrift shops for a spice rack.  I didn’t have any  luck, but I did find a dresser that I’m coveting for Lili’s room.  I think it goes perfectly with her comforter and wall stickers.  If it’s still there on payday, I’m going to send Aaron back to get it and then we can put the dresser she’s using into the twins room- they don’t have one.

Isn’t it so cute?  I really hope it’s still there!  It’s a decent price too.

So glad tomorrow is Friday…

I love that dresser!!! Hopefully it is there when you go back.. and hopefully you’ll have better luck finding an old wooden spice rack (I never thought it would be so hard to find one at thrift stores!). After I saw your post yesterday, I was really hoping you’d find one so I could atleast see someone else complete the project lol.

That dresser is so cute! Even if they don’t have it still, I think it would be pretty easy to make one by removing the pull knobs from a dresser and placing on wall stickers, then replacing the knobs.

That dresser is adorable. How come I never see anything like that when I go into a thrift store?
