Have you guys heard of Shaklee?   I hadn’t until recently.  When I’ve spoken to friends about them, the most common response is that they are known for their green household cleaners.  But that’s not how I discovered them-   I learned of an opportunity in which they were choosing bloggers to use and review their Cinch products over the course of 6 months.   I decided to throw my name in the ring, because I’d love to lose some weight.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to get chosen.  There are so many better bloggers out there, with bigger followings.  But I was chosen!  You can see my name up in lights along with the 49 other ladies  who were picked to make up Team Cinchspiration on the Shaklee Blog.

So over the next six months, I’ll be chronicling my journal with Cinch- posting  blog entries, photos, measurements (gasp), and even videos.  I’m a little intimidated.  But, I’m also excited.  In addition to receiving the products I need to make this weight loss journey successful, we’ll all be entered for a chance to win a $10,000 blog-spokesperson contract , a $2,500 Macy’s gift card with personal shopper, an all-expenses-paid trip to a social media conference, monthly incentives, and more!

I used to be skinny.  And then I had kids.  I know I’ll never be 105 pounds again like I was before having children, but I’d like to be a healthy weight for my height (or lack their of!) for once in my adult life.  I did lose a good amount of weight right before I met Aaron, but then we got married, and I had more kids.  The losses didn’t help- because between the sadness and back to back pregnancies, I just gained even more.

But my twins will be three on Thursday, and it’s time to get my butt in gear and get healthy.  As I learn more, I’ll be sharing it with you.  I’m counting on you guys to cheer me on.  I can’t do this without you!
