What is with men and their underwear?  I swear it’s like once their mom stops buying them new ones each year, they don’t think about upgrading their drawers until they’re married.  I almost always put undies in Aaron’s stocking at Christmas, but lately he has been preferring boxer briefs over standard boxers, and he only has a few pairs of those- so they’re getting rather worn out.

The twins and I headed to Kmart one night while E was at driver’s ed to grab a few things and I ended up buying Aaron a package of the new MaLo Underwear.  If you don’t know (and I totally didn’t at first) MaLo is short for Mario Lopez.  You can check out all those photos here.

At first I was a little confused because all the packages looked the same, with the only difference being what type of underwear was inside being highlighted- briefs, tees, or boxer briefs.  I could find the sizing on the front, but not the colors.  To see those, you  have to flip the packages over, which makes it a little time consuming to shop for this brand.

They only had two options for Aaron’s size of boxer briefs, the ones shown above, and another set with purple in it- and I didn’t think Aaron would wear purple.  He changes at work, actually several times a day between going in civilians and PT and his coveralls, and for that reason doesn’t wear certain seasonal boxers much since all the other Marines will see them.  It’s rather unfortunate, since he has several pairs for all the holidays!  Apparently it’s uncool to wear pumpkins in June and whatnot.

So with this purchase of new #MaLoUnderwear for Aaron, I was able to replace some of the standard boxers that he no longer prefers, as well as some of the holiday prints in one swoop!  I really think he’ll like these- the fabric is soft and comfy feeling yet they seem appropriately supportive.
