Some Randomness.

  • Current word on the street is that the second half of our household goods left NC today.  Fingers crossed that they show up and we get our stuff tomorrow or the next day!  What I wouldn’t give to sleep in a bed again…
  • The twins attended school in NC 4 days a week for an hour a day- for speech therapy.  It was a half day, but they only went in for an hour since it was a pre-K setting, not a preschool.  The preschool here is all day.  They’ll do naps, snacks, lunch.  They’re only three. I am kind of freaking out about my babies being gone all day, even though its right up the road and the girls will be in the same building.
  • Our front door has this little window that looks right into the living room.  I want to put something there, but it doesn’t seem the right size or shape for a curtain unless you make the curtain and rod custom.  Any suggestions?

  • All the snow we got the other day has already melted.  It was rather nice out today- temperature wise- but it was super foggy.  We went to check out E’s school and they gave us some stuff to fill out and want us to call tomorrow to make an appointment.
  • Afterwards, we stopped at a diner to eat and we were the only people there who don’t collect social security.  I guess it was the timing (3pm) but the food was good, and old ladies love Bacon.
  • In fact, every time E, Bacon and I are out, they all think that he’s ours together- like E is the father and I’m a cougar.  It’s rather humorous to me.  If E was into old ladies, he’d be rolling in them as long as he’s toting his baby brother around!  He is always carrying him too, I have to beg for my own baby sometimes.  I told him I’d see if we could find an adult size I’m the Big Brother shirt for him to wear.
  • I won the Gold Box from Julep!  I was surprised, since I rarely even get my monthly boxes and instead skip them all the time.

I think it is pretty hilarious that the little old ladies (LOL) think E is Logan’s dad . . .

Fingers crossed that your stuff arrives tomorrow!

Thanks! It cracks me up when they think Logan is E’s- But he’s always holding and snuggling him- he’s such a great big brother.

        Gretchen in HB says:

I second the window film. It still lets the light in, blocks UV rays and keeps creepers from peepin’ in your windows. We found a fun cloud pattern at Home Depot. It comes in a roll like contact paper. Plus, it just sticks on with a bit of Windex, nothing permanent.
