Our partially unpacked, disorganized new pantry.
We have an official pantry for the first time in my life- and I’m so excited about it. It’s a big, walk in one with floor to ceiling shelving and plenty of room. I love not worrying if all the bulk sized foods I buy will fit into our cabinets! In our old house, when I’d buy bigger boxes of things that wouldn’t fit anywhere, we would end up leaving them on the kitchen floor or on the counter.
The pantry is off of our laundry room (another awesome part of this new house that I’m loving and I’m sure I’ll be blogging about soon) and we even have room for our deep freezer next to it.
So now I am researching ways to keep it organized. Thanks to Pinterest, I’ve found several options. As always, all photos go back to the pin.
First up- I think this idea of a baking cart is genius. My KitchenAid is so heavy, and we always just keep it on the counter- taking up valuable real estate. This would solve that problem. I’m pretty sure there’s plenty of room for it off to the right side of the pantry.
I also am thinking of keeping other less-used appliances in there as well, freeing up tons of space in our kitchen.
The shelves in our pantry are the wire type- then I found this- and after having some little stuff tip and lean I think it’s a great solution. It’s just vinyl floor tiles.

I adore the look of this pantry, completely organized and coordinating jars and baskets. According to the link, she found these products at the dollar store! That’s just my budget!

And finally, I think I want to add one of these racks for all the assorted spices and mixes. We often shop at Sam’s and some are big like the ones on the bottom, and it’s good to see that all sizes fit.
Do you have a pantry? How is it organized?

TipJunky just posted an image of her pantry on Instagram and we all went nuts, so beautifully organized and labeled. I’d troll her website for ideas!
I have various bins, but my kids tend to just toss things in where ever so I’m in desperate need of organizing my pantry. I love the vinyl tiles, and I need to do that. I’ve had too many small things fall to the floor because they slip between the slats.
I have one cupboard that is my ‘pantry’. Living alone means not having too much stuff in the house, having allergies means not so much packaged food. 2 shelves in a cupboard for food items and one shelf in another cupboard for spices. I do love to be organized and can’t wait to see what you do with this pantry!
I kind of have but nothing by American standards.
I have to tidy it up all the time because 3 of us are in there…I love the pinteresty pantries but I don’t thing they stay that way without lots of OCD ness
