Logan had his two month well baby appointment today, and with that we got some updated stats. He’s 9 pounds even and 21 inches- that’s up from 4 pounds, 6 ounces and 18 inches. He’s more than doubled his birth weight in two months!
He’s a night owl like I am, and with Aaron home, I’ve been sleeping in during the day and awake late into the night with him. It’s working right now since Aaron’s on leave, but when I have to shift back to a normal, daytime schedule, it’s going to be rough. And I’m thinking he’s a wee bit spoiled with the holding, since Daddy has been loving on him all day and I love on him all night.
We are bottle feeding Bacon, and I swear all he does is eat. They were fortifying the tiny bit of milk I was able to pump in the NICU with formula. He takes four ounces every few hours now.

His giving me angry eyes because I was re-adusting him, attempting to get a picture of him eating and he wasn’t amused with all the jostling. For the most part, we use Nuby SoftFlex Natural Nursers to feed him. We were sent three in cute, circus prints. They’re designed to help with the transition of breast to bottle by mimicking the shape, feel and function of the breast. I like that they are slow flow, so he doesn’t gag like he does on other bottles. The anti-colic valves are a nice feature too.

In addition to the three nursers, we were also sent a Milk Powder Dispenser. One thing breastfeeding moms never have to worry about is how to bring formula with them. The cans of powder are big and awkward and definitely not portable. If you use premade formula, you have to worry about keeping it refrigerated. The dispenser solves my problems by allowing me to carry premeasured powder to mix when needed.

The final item that Logan was sent to review by Nuby is the Brites Pacifier and Pacifinder set. The combo set includes two pacifiers and one pacifinder clip. I rarely clip the pacifier to the baby’s clothes, but I always keep the clip on the pacifier. I just find it’s easier to locate when it’s attached- whether in the diaper bag or around the house.
I think it’s funny how each kid of mine seems to prefer different brands of bottles and pacifiers. Logan will not touch the bottles that we used for the twins- he absolutely hates those nipples for some reason. And the ones the twins ended up using were not the brand we bought a bunch of before they were born! Those of you that have multiple children- did you notice that too?
I was sent these products to review because I’m a Nuby Mommy Blogger! If you’d like to purchase your own, you can find the SoftFlex Nursers at www.BuyBabyDirect.com and K-Mart, the Milk Powder Dispensers at www.BuyBabyDirect.com, Buy Buy Baby, TJ Maxx Marshall’s, and www.Diapers.com and the Pacifier Set at www.BuyBabyDirect.com and www.Diapers.com.

Loved the powder dispenser with my son. I kept premeasured bottles of water and just had to dump the powder in to feed (he drank room-temperature so no need to heat either). When we were through with formula, I used the containers to carry a variety of snacks – Cheerios and Goldfish fit in them perfectly! Thankfully we never had to deal with pacifiers at all.
What a cool idea for the milk powder dispenser! I wish I had one for my daughter when she was a baby.
