The LLR Rabbit Hole

I get sucked into things.  Obsessed.

I am not sure what it started with, but over the years it’s included things like:

  • Strollers
  • Cloth Diapers
  • Essential Oils
  • Washi
  • Planners
  • Beaded Jewelry Supplies
  • Make Up
  • Hair Bows
  • Books
  • Nail Polish
  • Beanie Babies
  • Jamberry Wraps

You get the idea.  Some of these I still collect and use- like the planners & washi and my Jamberry and EOs.  But many I’ve outgrown- or maybe my kids did- like the strollers and diapers.  It amazes me that after sixteen years together, my husband still tolerates me and my whims.

legiesIt’s really not surprising that when introduced to some super soft comfy LuLaRoe leggings, I had to have more.  And since I’d lost a bit of weight, the majority of my pants didn’t fit, which justified my purchases.  At least it did for the first few.   But there are so many patterns, it’s hard not to continue to shop!

If you don’t know anything about LuLaRoe, let me give you a brief explanation:  The company is run similarly to things like Jamberry, except the consultants own the inventory instead of having you shop through their link.  The difference is, only 2500 items are made in each print, so each consultant has different inventory that is sent to them at random.  This leads to searching for coveted prints and shopping from several different consultants.  The hunt is a huge part of the fun.

The leggings lead to the desire for matching shirts, and fortunately the same company makes those for you in several different styles.  So back to shopping I went, this time instead of just clicking on the leggings albums, I started checking out the shirts as well.  I ordered one in each style, to decide which I liked best.

As spring hit and the weather started heating up here in South Carolina, the leggings started getting too hot to wear.  Unfortunately, LLR doesn’t carry any shorts- but they do carry skirts.  I bought one to see how it fit, and fell in love.  As a bonus, I could wear it with one of the shirts I already bought.  I decided that instead of buying shorts elsewhere, I’d but other skirts to wear all summer long, and I’d be fancy this year.

It didn’t take long for me to look into what it takes to become a consultant- a lot of money up front and a super long wait list.  When Aaron mentioned that it might be a good idea, I jumped at his positivity and went for it.  I’ve been in the queue for a little over a month now, and can’t wait to start.

I’m proud of you! Your quirky whims are what make you interesting. I think it’s undiagnosed ADD that fuels the flame. Keep burning brightly. ? ❤️
