Picnic at the Park

It was another beautiful day here in North Carolina! I know I just said this the other day, but I LOVE SPRING! The flowers, the flip flops, the kids playing outside and being tired at night…. LOVE IT!

Today we packed a lunch and went to the park/playground for a picnic, and of course I took a ton of photos.

The BethSACK goes to the park!

Inside the BethSACK we discover a bag of drinks and this nifty tiffin box I found at Target!

I can’t seem to find the one in blue and green online, but here’s a link to the other color they have: Tiffin Box.  You many not know this yet, but you NEED one of these.  It just expands on my Bento Box obsession.  We’ll have to discuss that at a later date…

Here's what I packed inside for our picnic- yummy yumness!

In the baby tier, there’s the little puffs and crunchies, a jar of pears and a spoon.
Then we have apples and Nutella to dip.
In the next one, there are two sandwiches, one for Aaron and one for me, and Cheez-its.
Finally, for the girls, there’s half of a P B & J each, pretzels, and goldfish.

Ryan looks grouchy, but I think he was just watching the big kids play

The girls didn’t really sit and eat with us, they grabbed handfuls of food on the run and would come back when they were ready for more.  They were much to busy making friends and playing hard.

Tired after all the swinging... time for a rest and a bottle of milk

Just a head’s up for those of you who made it this far into this blog entry- if you’ll notice, I used my BethSACK.  And if you remember, by accepting the BethSACK, I promised to pass one on to one of my readers.   And because I get to give out the BethSACK in the manner of my choosing, I am choosing to host a contest.

I bet you’re wondering what you have to do in said contest- because obviously you NEED to win the BethSACK.  Well I’ll tell you.  You need to comment.  Not just here- but on my old posts.

And now you’re probably wondering why I want you to comment on my old posts, when I make plenty of new ones on a regular basis.  Well you see, when I made the move from Blogger to WordPress, I lost the vast majority of them- and now they look so unloved and naked and lonely.

I’ve installed a widget in my sidebar that monitors all the posts everyone leaves on every entry ever in this blog.  This way you can see how you’re doing.  But guys- don’t just leave a ‘I’m posting a comment’ type of posts, I’ll delete those.  At least show me you read the entry- or be like ‘Hey, cute kid in that picture’.  I don’t have the heart to delete comments that compliment my kids.

There will be some fine print and stuff at some point, along with an ending date of the contest.  But for now, you can get a head start by checking out some old posts and leaving some comment love.  Because obviously.
