Eagles, Brownies and I forget what the other was called, OH MY!

Mia dressed herself. Can you tell?

Back in the day of AOL message boards, I used to post a lot on the cloth diapering boards.  It’s where I learned and also where I bought- there was a whole classified section for dipes.  When the mamas there would get mail, they’d say they’d gotten an eagle if something was sent USPS because of the image on the priority mail packaging.  Likewise, when something arrived by UPS, it was called a brownie since the trucks are brown.  I know there was a name for FedEx too but I can’t remember it.

Today was a good mail day- first my Kindle came via FedEx.  I immediately registered it and charged it and downloaded my first book.  I am in love.  Best invention ever (aside from the interwebs, of course).

After that, the mail came… and the mailman delivered two packages.  They are products for my reviews and giveaways coming up next month.  I’m so excited- this is going to be an awesome event with so many fabulous sponsors.

Then, about an hour later, UPS showed up with another item for the 1st Birthday Bash!  It was seriously an amazing mail day today.

In other news… Aaron has duty tonight- boo.  Last time, he was supposed to be home the following morning since it’s a 24 hour shift but they made him work the next day- and he ended up working about 38 hours straight.  Hopefully that won’t happen again.  But because he isn’t here, I loaded the kids up and we went to Chili’s for dinner.

I don’t know why we always end up at Chili’s, but we do.  There are so many other restaurants in town, but for whatever reason, we love it there.  Is it bad that the servers recognize my family?  Ah well, it’s yummy and the kids like it.  And it’s WAY better than fast food since I get served LOL

Hmm I feel like there was more I wanted to say, but I got side tracked by World of Warcraft :X  and now it’s like a couple hours later…

OH!  I remembered one thing- Lili has a field trip tomorrow at some park.  I am not sure what they plan on doing all day, but on the permission slip it said that families were welcome to follow the buses and attend.  I figured I’d load everyone up and check it out, it might be fun for the kids & it will get me out of the house.

I also want to thank all of you who have tweeted, facebooked, and blogged about the MoD on my behalf- it means so much to have your support!  And of course, thank you to everyone who has donated- every dollar helps :)

And now, pictures!
