I wish it were Tuesday because I am feeling full of randomness today. Although, if it were Tuesday, there would be three more days until the weekend, and since it’s Thursday, there’s only one, and that’s way better.
Aaron had duty last night and I guess he did not get today off, since it’s dinner time and he’s still not home. Boo. I understand that they have to pull 24 hour shifts, but I don’t think it’s wise to have them work the following day on no sleep. There’s got to be a better way- one that doesn’t compromise their safety.
I was a bad mom and bailed on Lili’s field trip today. I went to bed way too late… and just didn’t have it in me to pack a day’s worth of twin crap and chase Mia and be social. Parenting fail. I shouldn’t have stayed up so late but I was distracted by my new Kindle.
Dylan has learned the fine art of throwing everything out of the corral. Good times.
The girls had been playing with the babies. Dylan got fussy so they put him in his crib for me, and a little bit later I look over at Ryan and he’s sound asleep on the floor. In a tutu. Someday, there will be payback, and the girls should be scared.
ETA**: OMG LOL I totally forgot- my whole reason for starting this post was to ask about carseats. I already asked on a message board and Facebook, but yeah. So anyway- talk to me about convertible carseats. The boys have just about outgrown their carriers, and I want them rear facing for longer. I also want the car seat to last… and I don’t want it to cost an arm & leg since we need two. We have two seats in our van where the boys go not a bench so the carseats don’t need to be narrow. I am concerned with how well they’ll fit though because our bucket seats touch the backs of the front seats, KWIM***? Here’s a picture so you can see what in the world I’m talking about. Plus it’s cute.

Also, I can’t find my cell phone and it’s battery is dead.
*Blog post title shamelessly stolen from my cousin’s Facebook page.
**ETA stands for Edited to Add… because I know my mother will ask.
